What the heck is up with all the precipitation??

Rain-Rain go away!!

What a weekend!!

Happy belated Thanksgiving to all!!! I had to work for the holiday and Fri, Sat, Sun. So therefore, no time to post on the blog. Excuses over, Hope everyone had a lovely holiday weekend. So sad and sorry that it's back to the norm workweek now. Oh well. Many good things happened over the weekend. Rockford Football won the state championship. Congrats Rams! Thats Back to Back, excellent. Grand Valley managed to beat Sag Valley, and so they are one game away from another National Championship showdown. Dan's already making his travel plans to Florence, AL. Good luck to the Lakers this weekend. They play some East Strousberg??? I don't know. Well we will get the play by play while we relax up in Gaylord with the gracious and hospitable Catts. We are having a time of Chirstmas celebration with them. How fun. Had fun at the Davis home on Sat night with the boys. Never knew Catch phrase could be so much fun. Thanks to Brad and the boys for a fun night out. We missed you Jenn and Sara. Will post more later in the week. Loves and hugs.

SNOW!!!!!!!

Well look at this There is truly snow on November 16th, 2005. I am not too fond of the stuff but it really is beautiful. This pic is the view from our driveway this afternoon. I look forward to driving in it later too:) Well God bless and enjoy the flakes.

Mans Best Friend

I just realized that our dear dog, Sir Patrick has not yet graced the pages of our blog. We adpoted him 2 years ago at the age of eight. He is old and chilled out and works great in our chaotic life. He does have moments when he thinks that he is two and wants to act like it for a few short hours and then he sleeps for what seems like days. Back in the day of the lake house (where my parents lived for a stretch) he would swim for endless hours until all the humans gave up throwing the stick.

What a darling doggie!

All in the family

Well I posted a picture to help us forget about the snow that is currently falling. This is a family photo from Gulf Shores, AL. Maddie is the one under the yellow poncho:) Well I just wanted to post a note about visiting Tom and Laurens new blog. I have yet to figure out how to post a links list so for now I will just say check it out http://tlmhosford.blogspot.com. Love you all.

"Uncle" Dan

Here is Uncle Dan with our neice Madilyn. He adores her and I took this picture while he was holding her on his lunch break. I watch her on Wednesdays now so Lauren could go back to work a few days a week. It is our special bonding time. So Dan came home from work to see her. He looks forward to the times when she can take a nap with him on his lunch break. What special memories we create every day. God Bless little girls, they brighten the world for certain. We love you Maddie Poo.

Happy Halloween

Is she the cutest little peanut you've ever seen or what? This is Madilyn Adele on her first Haloween night. She was the sweetest butterfly in the world. She was not extremely fond of the costume at first but over time it went better

The next photo shows her with dear aunt Tracy who adores her. I came to see her straight from the airport in between trips to Cali and Nashville. (see previous posts) What a sweetie pie.

Nashville Nights

So last week I(Tracy), went to Nashville for a Burn Conference. The picture shows my co-workers and my manager from Blodgett Regional Burn Center at the Wildhorse Saloon. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland resort and conference center and it was fabulous. There are 27 acres to the complex and they include the hotel with 3000 rooms and over eight restaurants or something close. They also have the Grand Ole Opry and a mall on the property. We had a blast. It was great to get home, although I will miss the "Country Scene". I think I have a little bit of Cowgirl hidden in me.

Another part of the hotel had a true Louisiana mansion in it. It was called The Old Hickory House. We went there for High Tea one day. It was very cool. They served the same menu as the Buckingham palace and we really enjoyed the experience. The picture shows Tracey Fischer and myself sitting down for tea with tea biscuits, fruit tartlets, and cucumber sandwiches. It was "SHOOPER SHWEET". Thanks for the fun Nurse Fischer.

Friends Forever

What a trip. While I was in California I spent some great time with one of my best friends Rhianon Whilhoit. She lives in Oceanside and her husband Heath is in the Navy and stationed in Kuwait for six months. So here we are sharing memories and catching up in Tijuana, Mexico over a few margaritas. They were the best I've ever had. What a special time to be with her and remember why we are still great friends over the miles. She introduces me to the world of blog and her blog is titled Worlds apart. Check it out http://wilhoits.blogspot.com. Love you Rhi

Visit to Cali

Well I (Tracy) went on a trip to Cali to see my ailing grandfather. I went with my dad and we had a great time. It was an interesting time because I realized that this may be the last time I would see him. We now know that he has Lymphoma all over his body but that there is some treatment that mightt help for awhile. He was feeling pretty good when we arrived and as you can see he looks great. He is such an amazing man and has such a legacy to leave that it is bittersweet to know he won't be here forever. So very sad. Well at least he knows he will be seated at the right hand of God. What a life he has lead. What a wonder and blessing that God has shared him for so long. We love you Grandpa. You are the example to live by. Enjoy the rest of the journey however long it may be.

We made it to the world of blog

Hello all, we finally made it. I am sure it will take time to make our site great but bear with us. In the meantime we want to say Hi.
