Little man Jonah

Ok so we totally stole this shot from mom and dad but just in case some people don't check out their site we have just got to put this great photo op out there. He is just the sweetest baby child there is. Jonah we love and adore you to pieces and treasure the opportunity to be your Aunt and Uncle. We are looking forward to all the fun times and special memories we will create over the years. Loves and kisses baby boy.

Oh my gosh, Three Years already!

Sorry for the late post. I just wanted to jot a quick thought on how wonderful it is to have been married for three years already. I know to some of you who have far surpassed us it may not be that great but there is something very reassuring about passing the three year mark. Our marriage is so much more fulfilling now and we have grown considerably. And more importantly we have truly grown together and our communication comes more naturally and all those great things that can come with time. I just wanted to say that I am forever greatful to God for the amazing man he allows me to love and cherish. Also thanks to all the friends and family that have supported us through just as promised when we got married three years ago Jan 25th. Loves Tracy

Cutest Baby Boy

Isn't he the cutest little boy? And what a peach to be so wide awake for Aunty Tracy to see him. Jonah is doing very well. He's a hungry little guy and eats and sleeps most of his life for now. He's a bit gassy too but he has his father to thank for those genes. We love you baby Jonah.

The new car comes home!!

Ok, I realize that this is a lot less exciting than baby Jonah and such but this is all I've got right now. My new baby is this 2004 Nissan Murano. Dan's dear Concorde was finally officially driven into the ground and so the time had come for a new vehicle. So spoiled little me gets this new darling and he gets to drive the Olds Intrigue which we also dearly love. Win Win situation. Can't go wrong. Anyway, thats all the excitement in our world. Oh and I have gotten to work almost all my hours this week, what a change. Loves to all.

Jonah is home!!!

What a sweet little love. This Aunty is in pure joy right now. I missed his first two days due to a bad flu bug and what a change. He's such a perfect little boy. He is safe and happy at home. The little kiddos got a routine going with mom and dad. We stayed a few hours yesterday and saw the whole cycle of eat, sleep, poop. Who would have guessed it would be so exciting? Well this sweet boy changes everything. I just realized yesterday that I am only one of two Aunts that this little one has and Dans th onlyUncle for now . What a treat, less sharing!! Jonah baby you are one loved child.

Welcome baby boy Jonah

He has arrived. Baby boy Jonah Wesley Carlson. Born January 18th, 2006, proud parents Sean and Kelli Carlson. Proud Aunt and Uncle Dan and Tracy Hosford (Perma grin :) Not to mention 25th great-grandchild of Wesley Carlson (Grandpa seen in previous posts). He weighed in at 8lbs 5oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Healthy baby and happy family. Kelli is a rockstar mommy and toughed out some serious labor before realizing that even if she tried for days this honeychild wasn't coming out unless they came in to get him. (They being trained professional obstetrics doctors and such). Born via C-section with no further complications. Praise God he has the ultimate plan because Jonah was carrying his cord around his neck and if he came out another way he would have compressed his cord. The great God always knows best doesn't he. More to come....

Hosfords Home

Where oh where can my baby be???

Well, that Carlson baby is being a bit stubborn. The baby is so snug and cozy inside mommy that it won't come out and see the rest of the owrld. In the meantime, Kelly is not feeling so snug and cozy at all. Oh well, all in Gods timing. Anyway, Baby Carlson we love you lots and can't wait to meet you. Soon!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Well we truly hope that the holidays were wonderful for you all and that the New Year holds your greatest blessings ever. Well for the sixth year in a row we were blessed to spend the evening with Mike and Rachel Segard. We went out for a lovely dinner at Tuscan Express. The food was great and the compnay even better. We ran into Mikes Aunt and Uncle Jima dn Joan Mitchell and chatted with them throughout dinner. They were incredibly generous in treating us all for dinner so that started a truly happy new year. The on to say Hello to Brad and Jen Davis (Dan's boss and his wife), and also good friends. Matt and Sara Pitzer were also there. They are friends of ours through the Davis'. Bothe couples are expecting early this new year and so they had a quiet evening in. Then we all went to Kris and Leanne's house and met up with the rest of the gang. Sean and Kelli, Andy and Sadie, Gabe and Rachel (Leannes sister), Aaron VanSoest, and Linsey and Josh (Kelli's sister). We played a game and rang in the new year with champagne and Dick Clark. The I worked Sunday all day, which is a rare thing these days with few burn patients out there. I have been missing a lot of work hours due to no patients. More time at home, but less money. Oh well! God bless you this New Year.
