Plum Tuckered

This picture can just go to show how I feel after a long day of playing, talking, sitting up and eating. I can't even make it to my bed sometimes, I just crash wherever feels best. Dad liked this shot because it reminds him of himself. He apparently has quite the rep for sleeping anywhere at anytime. Love you pops!

Check me out!

So mom finally fixed the stupid computer and we can post on our blogger again. Woohoo! Sorry it has been awhile. I have so much news to share. I was a little nervous for this past week, there was a lot going on around here. I had my doctors appt. on Wed afternoon and had four shots and an oral vaccine. What a trip, they stabbed me in my cute little chubby thighs four times. What the heck did I ever do to them? Well I screamed pretty loud for a minute or two just to get my point across and then i was fine. I am pretty resilient but mom said something about breaking her heart. Shes a softie, Dad was tough except that he hates needles or something. I am 13 lbs and 3 ounces now. Big girl, I am also tall at 23 1/2 inches. Wow! Then Wed night mom decided to go back to work. After such a rough day it was ok, I slept from 8pm on. Cool! Dad didn't have to do a thing for me, I try to make his life easy. I am after all a daddy's little girl.

Cool shades!

Gracie got these totally cute shades from her fabulous cousin Maddie and stylish Auntie Lauren. She was wearing them today in preparation for Gulf Shores which is a mere two and a half weeks away. Yahoo!!!! See you there shady lady.

Loving cousins

So Tuesday is the day that I watch Maddie again. We love having her hang out at our house with us. She is so much fun and is very helpful with baby Gracie. This pic shows Maddie trying to help baby Gracie and how much Gracie loves to watch her cousin be-bop around the house. Thanks for spending time with us Madilyn, we love you bunches. Oh yeah, check out Gracelyn's stylin Ralph Lauren jeans and Merrels. She dresses the best in the house thats for sure.

Sleeping in my crib

It is official, I am finally sleeping in my crib. It took a rough night on Sunday but Monday night went much better and I even nap in there now. Sometimes, I do still love my papasan and my swing. Well I just needed to post a pic to show it is for real. Nice job on the crib dad, its is fine work you did.

Sittin pretty

Here I am sitting up tall in my cool Bumbo chair. I am practicing so I can sit by myself someday. They say the dudes really dig a girl who can sit by herself. I am 11 weeks old now and I weigh over 12 pounds. I am really looking forward to my beach vacation that is just 22 days away. Sitting in my chair watching the dolphins and the cute dudes in their swimming trunks, what could be better? Mom is pretty happy these days because I finally have a sleeping schedule. I don't know what the big deal is? Well stay tuned for cute beach pics in a few weeks.

Feeling free

When you have a baby in the middle of the winter, you rarely get to see all their cute little parts due to the fact that they are bundled constantly. Well last night Gracie was feeling kinda toasty and so she had a few moments of freedom from all the bundles and just lounged in her onesie and some slippers for a while. She was smiling and kicking and she loved it. I can't wait for the next twenty seven days to pass until we are in sunny Gulf Shores and basking in the sun with minimal clothing on. Hey check out those chubby little thighs too. If anyone wondered if she eats well, chubby rolls don't lie. We just love our little peanut to pieces. She is the light of our lives and we are so greatful to be blessed with her.

Loving my Gee!

Here is a pic of Gracie with her precious little Gee. She loves it and sleeps with it almost every night. She is always holding on to it and feeling how soft it is. This pic is from the night that she finally slept through the night for the first time. It was my(moms) first six hour stretch of sleep since she was born. Woohoo! We are slowly making progress. She is two months and one week old now. Thanks Uncle Sean, Aunt Kelli and Cousin Jonah for Gee Raff, I love it!
