He has arrived. Baby boy Jonah Wesley Carlson. Born January 18th, 2006, proud parents Sean and Kelli Carlson. Proud Aunt and Uncle Dan and Tracy Hosford (Perma grin :) Not to mention 25th great-grandchild of Wesley Carlson (Grandpa seen in previous posts).He weighed in at 8lbs 5oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. Healthy baby and happy family. Kelli is a rockstar mommy and toughed out some serious labor before realizing that even if she tried for days this honeychild wasn't coming out unless they came in to get him. (They being trained professional obstetrics doctors and such). Born via C-section with no further complications. Praise God he has the ultimate plan because Jonah was carrying his cord around his neck and if he came out another way he would have compressed his cord. The great God always knows best doesn't he. Congrats! Today is a big day! My friend Alison just had a baby boy this morning so I have been thinking a lot today about baby Carlson and when he was going to join us. i can't wait to come home and meet Jonah! Give my love to him and his parents!
What a proud Papa! We are so thrilled for Kellie and Sean. Jonah looks like a cutie for sure. Another boyfriend for Maddie! :)

Kelli and Sean are my new heros - I will NEVER EVER forget the look on Kelli's face when Sean was showing off his little boy for the first time to all of us previously stuck in the waiting room. She was so happy, proud, in love, and .... drugged all at the same time. It brought too many tears to my eyes.
