This post is both sad and happy at the same time. Grandma (Alberta) Hosford has passed through the pearly gates after a long battle with a few different illnesses. She went out on her own terms and was able to see and visit with all her loved ones. She was a wonderful woman with a heart of gold. She was always willing to welcome new members into the family. She also loved me like her own granddaughter and truly looked forward to meeting her 23rd great grandchild, Gracelyn Rae. Her constant presence in Dan's life was a real blessing in so many ways. We will never forget her Saturday morning pancakes or Sunday afternoon dinners. Her love and support were immeasurable and she will be sorely missed. She is finally pain free and for that we are truly grateful. Please keep the family in your prayers at this time for peace and comfort. There will be a visitation on Friday at Pederson funeral home and then the funeral on Saturday with a reception to follow. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

We will miss you more than you will ever know, Gram. You take care of you now instead of all of us. We'll see you again someday. Love you and God Bless.
A more giving, accepting, caring and loving lady I will never meet.
I could only strive to be a LITTLE like her. Thanks for the awesome example you left Alberta!
Thanks for the cool tribute to her, Tracy!!
May the wonderful memories of her comfort her family at this time.
You're so good with words Tracy.
Kris and I are thinking of you and your family - hoping you enjoy remembering every wonderful memory you have of your sweet grandma.
We love you two.
You guys, I'm so sorry for such a profound loss. But you spoke so eloquently, Trace, about her better life now and the hope of seeing her again someday. I'm so glad that she was such a force in your and others' lives. She sounds like she was amazing.
