So this past Saturday Dan and I took Patrick and did a 5K walk to benefit the Burn Center that I work at and a few programs that we run. It was lots of fun but the weather was frigid. We started at 9am and it took about an hour to finish but we all stayed together and had a blast. The picture shows Kelly, Alisha, and Sara(with Sadie), three of the RNs from the BC. Also pictured are Joanie the nurse tech extraordinaire and Rick one of our patients and friends. We had a blast and not to mention the firefighters made us the pancake breakfast of our dreams.

Grandpas memorial
This pic is of my mom and dad and his two brothers and sistiers-in-law. Uncle Pete and Aunt MaryJo in the red and Uncle Paul and Aunt Jayne in the black. We had a lovely time Sunday spending time remembering Grandpa and reflecting on his life together. It was splendid and exactly how he would have liked it to be. Many of his old friends were there and lots of family. It was great. God Bless our family as we move on and live the legacy he left us.

Grandpas Memorial Service

Well the time is here, as sad as it is. We are having a memorial service to honor the life and legacy of my grandfather Wesley Arthur Carlson. The service will be held at Rockford Baptist Church on Sunday the 26th of March at 3:00pm. It will a time to see video of his life, hear stories about him from three of his sons and many grandchildren, and fellowship with others who loved him as dearly as we did. Feel free to join our family at the service if you would like. We would love to see you and share the memories of such an amazing man. A treasure lost but never forgotten.

Sadie the puggle!
Sadie the puggle is growing up too. She is full of shananigans and keeps Sara very busy but how can you not just love that little face.

Amanda Soddy
Amanda is now three weeks old and doing very well. She has gone through a lot in these three weeks and will continue to jump many hurdles. She is getting food through a feedinbg tube now, her mom and dad got to hold her, and she had a heart surgery this past week. She is such a little blessing to see how God is in control of life this early on. Please continue to pray for their family as they go through this experience with grace and peace. Praise also that she is now off the ventilator and breathing on her own. God bless the Soddy family!
